This Set is part of Creative Turning's Carbide Tip Series of Turning Tools. The set features replaceable Tungsten Carbide tips, Mounted on Solid Stainless Steel shafts. The handles are from European hardwood and the Shafts are mounted in the Handles by means of Stainless Steel Ferrules.
This three piece set is a small/medium set and is perfect for mini to midi lathes.
The carbide tips holds an edge longer than HSS and can be rotated for a new sharp edge, before it needs to be replaced with a new tip.
The set consists of:
- 10mm Stainless Steel shaft with 12mm round TCT cutter, shaft length 12cm with total length of 34cm
- 10mm Stainless Steel shaft with 11mm square TCT cutter, shaft length 12cm with total length of 34cm
- 10mm Stainless Steel shaft with 11x28mm diamond TCT cutter, shaft length 12cm with total length of 34cm
