The Creative Turning Carbide Forstner Drills have two 1.6mm thick Tungsten Carbide blades for cutting the bottom of the hole while drilling. On the side is also two Tungsten Carbide cutters for drilling clean holes. The two narrow side cutters are the only area making contact and eliminates the friction and heat that is associated with conventional Forstner drills.

The Carbide drills solves the problem of the difficulty of drilling holes for peppermills in the lathe, especially with small lathes. The carbide drills stays sharper longer and can be used to drill holes in hard woods.
