CT_GRIND_L1 LATHE TOOL REST SHARPENING SYSTEM KIT

The Chisel Grinding Tool Rest provides a solid, easy to use work surface to sharpen your woodworking tools directly on a lathe. 

Works with 150mm (6") or 200mm (8") CBN Wheels

An adaptor is included to mount a CBN wheel with 32mm hole

LG-GRIND/1-1/4+5/8: LG-GRIND With 1-1/4"x8TPI thread for lathe spindle and 5/8" bore for CBN wheel

1) Adapter Mandrel for Mounting CBN Wheel to a Wood Lathe with 1-1/4"x8TPI Spindle Thread 

2) Tool rest stand (included 1"+ 5/8" rods) with the 12mm diameter Support Bar , you can use many of the Tormek Jigs to 

produce a honed edge on most types of tools, quickly and easily.

3) CT-CGJ-T: Working table with slot with 12mm diameter channel

4) Skew/Gouge grinding guide for skew chisels and gouges with 12mm diameter. 

If you sharpen a lot of skew chisels and gouges with CBN and need a simple guide to speed up the process then this jig 

will help out. It squares itself comfortably in the groove of the CT-CGJ-T and has two 70° guides to quickly grind skew chisel 

edges. It can easily accommodate even the largest width 32mm skew chisels comfortably. The central V-shaped section is 

perfect as a base to comfortably roll gouges to grind their edge evenly on your bench grinder.The jig is produced from cast 

Aluminium and measures a generous 125 x 75mm overall.
