The Creative Turning Thread Cutting Jig comes standard with two thread cutting spindles, a 16tpi and a 10 tpi spindle. It also comes with two stem sizes, 25mm and 16mm.  (The 25mm stem can also be used for lathes with a 1” stem size.)  Very accurate thread cutting is possible with the supplied collet chuck which holds the thread cutter. The collet chuck has a M33 x 3.5mm spindle thread with a supplied adaptor to fit a 1”x8tpi spindle. The spindle thread on the threaded spindle is M33x3.mmm. Other  spindle threads can be accommodated by means of spindle thread adaptors. Please contact Creative Turning for more details.
