Why Stellite?

When coring bowls, cutters must withstand shocks from knots and defects while producing an excellent finish. After researching sawmill operations, Woodcut Tools chose Stellite for its proven durability.

Each blade comes with a Stellite tip, welded to the blade because Stellite is too dense to drill and tap. This hardness provides the resilience and long life turners need.
